Web design for gyms
Gym and personal trainer website design that turns interest into sign-ups
Joining a gym or booking a personal trainer is something people think about for a while before they do it. When they finally look you up, often late in the evening, the website has to answer their questions and make the next step feel easy, before the motivation wears off.
Whether you run a busy gym, a small studio or train clients on your own, the job is the same: be clear, be welcoming and make signing up simple.
Answer the questions people are too shy to ask
- What it costs, with membership options or session prices set out plainly
- What a first visit or first session is actually like
- Who it’s for, including complete beginners, older clients or people returning after injury
- Opening hours, class times, parking and changing facilities
Classes, memberships and sign-ups
A timetable that’s easy to read on a phone, clear membership options and a simple way to join or book a taster session do most of the work. If you use booking software, we link it from every page. The Premium Website can take membership payments and class bookings by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and members’ areas can hold training plans or resources for your clients.
Real results, real people
Before and after stories, testimonials and photographs of your actual space and coaches are far more convincing than glossy stock images of models. Personal trainers in particular sell themselves, so your story and your approach deserve a proper page.
What it costs
Our Classic Website is £30 a month including VAT: up to 15 pages, up to 50 images, hosting, SSL, a business mailbox, a contact form and unlimited phone and email support. The Premium Website is £45 a month and adds a content management system so you can edit everything yourself, unlimited pages, online payments, custom forms and members’ areas. Our photographer and film team can capture your space and your coaching in action too. There’s no setup fee and no minimum term, and you can compare both on our web design packages page.
Plenty of trainers start out on a DIY website builder, so our guide to outgrowing Wix and Squarespace may be useful when you’re ready to move on.

Questions gyms and personal trainers often ask us
Can people sign up or pay online?
Yes. The Premium Website can take membership fees, session packages and class bookings by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Klarna. If you already use booking software, we link it from every page.
Can I update my class timetable myself?
Yes, with the Premium Website you can change timetables, prices and offers whenever you need to. On the Classic Website our team updates them for you.
I’m a personal trainer working on my own. Is this for me?
Very much so. Many of our customers are one-person businesses, and the Classic Website at £30 a month gives you a professional site with up to 15 pages.
Can clients have their own login area?
Yes. The Premium Website includes members’ areas, so you can share training plans, videos or resources with clients behind a login.
Should I put my prices on the website?
We recommend it. Clear prices or from prices answer the first question most people have and save you a lot of messages.
Is there a long contract?
No. There is no minimum term and no setup fee, so you can cancel at any time.
