Web design for accountants
Website design for accountants and professional services firms
People choosing an accountant, solicitor, adviser or consultant usually compare two or three firms before they pick up the phone. They read the websites carefully, and they’re looking for signs that you understand businesses or people like them, that you’re properly qualified and that you’ll be easy to deal with.
A tired website full of generic phrases like “a professional, personal service” loses that comparison quietly, however good the firm behind it.
Say who you’re for
- The clients you work best with, such as sole traders, farms, landlords or growing limited companies
- Each service on its own page, explained in plain English, with what it includes
- Fixed fees or from prices where you can offer them, because people like to know roughly what they’re getting into
- Your team, with photographs, qualifications and what each person specialises in
Credentials and compliance
Professional bodies and regulators often expect certain information on your website, and clients look for it too. Accountants usually show their professional body membership, and SRA-regulated law firms must display the SRA badge and publish price information for certain services. We make sure the right details are clear and easy to find, while you confirm what your own regulator requires.
Content that shows you know your stuff
A short guide to a tax deadline or a plain explanation of a common question shows expertise better than any claim on the home page. With the Premium Website you can publish articles and news yourself, and custom forms and members’ areas can handle onboarding and document sharing.
What it costs
Our Classic Website is £30 a month including VAT: up to 15 pages, up to 50 images, hosting, SSL, a business mailbox, a contact form and unlimited phone and email support. The Premium Website is £45 a month and adds a content management system so you can edit everything yourself, unlimited pages, online payments, custom forms and members’ areas. There’s no setup fee and no minimum term, and you can compare both on our web design packages page.
If you’re weighing up a new site against your current one, our guide to diagnosing a website that has stopped working might help.

Questions professional firms often ask us
Can you include our regulator’s badge or membership logos?
Yes. We place professional body logos and regulator badges where clients expect to see them. You confirm exactly what your regulator requires, and we make sure it is displayed clearly.
Should we publish our fees?
Where you can, it helps. Fixed fees or from prices answer the first question many clients have, and some regulated firms are required to publish price information for certain services.
Can clients upload documents securely?
The Premium Website includes custom forms and members’ areas, which can be used for onboarding forms and sharing documents behind a login. Every site uses SSL encryption.
Can we write our own articles and news?
Yes. The Premium Website includes a content editor and blogging, so your team can publish guides and updates whenever you like.
We are a small practice. Which package suits us?
Many small firms start with the Classic Website at £30 a month, which includes up to 15 pages. If you want to edit the site yourselves or publish regular articles, the Premium Website at £45 a month is the better fit.
Is there a long contract?
No. There is no minimum term and no setup fee, so you can cancel whenever you need to.
